Conveyor Belt Fasteners---Belt Lacing
The goodlark belt lacing economical installation of a low-profile belt splice. Available in continuous lengths, the system fits any belt width and provides uniform tension across the full belt width. The systems offers:
Advantage
1.Low Cost: Competitive and economic splice.
2.Easy Installation: Simple Installation with basic tooling or hammer only.
3.Flexible: Suitable for smaller pulley diameters.
4.Low Maintenance: When correctly installed Ultilace will give a long working life
5.No Corrossive: Available in Stainless steel which is corrosion free. This avoids corrision and contamination of conveyed products.
6.Universal:Suitable for installation on many different conveyor belt types.
Applications
Flat Transmission Belts
Agriculture Belts
Packaging Machines Belts
Commercial Laundry
Logistics Applications
Airport Belt
The Hammer applied Lacing utilizes a design with teeth that are formed so that when they are driven parallel to the length of the belt, the vital longitudinal carcass fibers are not severed.
The compression fit of the connecting bar provides a strong, vise-like hold on the belt and distributes belt tension evenly across the entire belt width. The one-piece fastener strip also ensures that there are no loose pieces to work themselves out of the belt and into the conveyed product. The flat splice obtained with a continuous strip of lacing also helps with hinge pin insertion.
Time-tested proven dependable, the strength of the lacing is enhanced due to the common bar, which yields a continuous lacing strip for the width of the belting. Thus, the tension is distributed across the entire belt width. Made of a special steel that allows the points to pierce the belt carcass, yet the teeth are design-ed to enter the belt fabric without cutting the longitudinal strength members of the belting.
Application requires a hammer gauge pin - no further tools are needed - to assure long life maximum reliability in light-weight belts.
Combining toughness with ease of installation, The Goodlark belt lacing can makes a strong, smooth splice on all types of transmission light conveyor belts.
